Co-op Country

Your Co-op, Your Power

A message from CEO, Robert Raker:

"At West River Electric, we don’t just serve communities — we’re a part of them.

As your local electric cooperative, we live and work alongside you. We cheer on the same hometown teams, support the same schools, and gather at the same community events. The people we serve aren’t just customers — they’re our neighbors, our friends, and often, our family.

That connection is what sets us apart. Because we’re member-owned, every decision we make is guided by what’s best for the people and communities we serve. Whether it's keeping the lights on through a tough storm, investing in local infrastructure, or supporting youth programs and economic development, we do it with one goal in mind: to power a stronger, more vibrant future — together.

Being part of a cooperative means we succeed when our communities succeed. And that’s a responsibility we take to heart, every single day.

Thank you for allowing us to serve you."
